Original jacket and publisher's black cloth with title stamped in red on front board and spine. Illustrated endpapers. ix, 290 p.p. Frontispiece plus [7] leaves of photographs. An interesting account of the Wakaioka, the snake-people tribe of Tanganyika. Some scoring to pages with tear bottom edge of p. 275 and scoring from head to foot of margin. Pages lightly browned. Jacket somewhat soiled. Chips to jacket edges and extremities. Inner flaps clipped. Light rubbing to boards with bruising at spine-ends. Otherwise a very good copy. Scarce in dust jacket.
