First edition first printing of the seventeenth Travis McGee mystery. There is foxing to the head and heel of the spine as well as the folds for the flaps. Price clipped otherwise in very good / very good condition.
Synopsis
The Empty Copper Sea (1978) is the seventeenth novel in the Travis McGee series by John D. Macdonald. In it, McGee looks into the apparent drowning of Hub Lawless in a boating accident. His $2 million insurance policy leads some to believe he has faked his death. Sam Elliott played McGee in the television movie of The Empty Copper Sea, titled Travis McGee (1983).
