Twenty-nine volume set in brown leather binding with gold lettering on the spines. Elusive ""Handy Volume Issue"" of the much sought after eleventh edition. The eleventh Britannica edition was the first to be published as a whole set at one date and the last to use the writings of notable world-class scholars as content. Printed on India paper. All volumes are basically sound and clean with some foxing. Interior pages are very clean. All volumes an abundance of illustrations including numerous fold-out maps in both color and black and white.
