Front cover has a few small white spots. Original dustjacket features painting of the a houseboat on the Thames. Wear and tear to jacket at top and bottom of spine, including a 1 1/4" tear at top of front spine and a 3/4" tear at top of rear spine. Hand-soiled. Edges of text block dust-spotted. Hinges strong. No marks inside. #18 in the Inspector French series, this book involves a murder which takes place in a locked room. Scarce. 319 pp..
