No date. Ca. 1827.. Engraving, hand colored, image plate-mark approximately 11 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches on sheet size 12 3/4 x 9 1/4. Light dampstain to lower margin, two 1/8 inch holes to upper margin (outside main image area), tape residue to upper edge of verso (not affecting front); good condition. This attractive antique print, featuring two children in traditional dress from Rouen, France, appears to be from "Cent cinq Costumes des Départements de la Seine Inférieure du Calvados de la Manche et de l'Orne" showing costumes from the Lower Seine and other French regions, with engravings by Georges Jacques Gatine after a painting by Benoit Pecheux. .
