From the Ancient & Modern Library of Theological Literature Series. Undated but Copac show it as [188?]. vii, 282 rough trimmed pages, size 8 inches tall by 5.5 inches. Illustrated frontispiece portrait. Book in Good Plus orange boards with black lettering - light marking to the boards and some bumping to the extreme corners and extreme ends of the spine. Contents, browning to the catalogue pages to the front and rear of the book, title and introduction page, previous owner has stuck some newspaper cuttings to the free front endpaper, their inscription to the half title page and a couple of neat notes in pencil to the rear endpaper otherwise the pages are clean and tightly bound.
