Beyer of Christiana (as Oslo, Norway was known from 1624-1924) , taken in 1891. The illustrations are mounted on cardboard and fold out accordion-style from green cloth boards with elaborate black and gilt botanical design on front. The title of this leporello is in Danish, but the captions for each costumed figure are in English and German. The five costumes shown are for a married man, married woman, young girl, bride and bride and bridegroom together. Measures 17.5 x 11.5 cm. Illustrations fold out to a length of 50 cm. Held her first exhibition at a Ginza art gallery in 1966 since when she became one of the most innovative and stylish shoe designers of the C20th. Unclipped jacket with light edgewear only.
