[2], 22 pp. 1 vols. 8vo. "This is No. LVII, published on the 15th February 1714 (numbered and dated on the first page of text), and the last of the first series of The Englishman, which started on 6 October 17l3. It was associated with The Crisis when Steele was tried and expelled from the House for sedition. Steele published a second series of thirty-eight numbers, between 11 July and 12 November 1715.
