Original stiff card wrappers, top edge gilt; floral cotton endpapers; a few faint spots, but a very good copy in the original parchment dust-jacket, printed in red and black, and with a design by Thomas Bewick on the upper panel; the parchment a little soiled and discoloured.- but still attractive.

This work includes 5 plates that depict engravings, which were initially on exhibition for the public, and were used to illustrate the author's Address. End papers and pastedown decorated with an attractive pattern of small flowers. Direct from the library of the late Hugh Selbourne MD (1906-1973) a noted book collector and diarist. In a stiff card binding with thick paper wrap affixed. Externally sound. Boards are a trifle rubbed. Handling marks to wrap. End papers and pastedown decorated with small flowers.
