(Oakland): Peter Koch, 1984. Limited edition. Stiff card. Fine. Tall thin folio, 9½ by 19½ inches. Title and vignette on the first page. The back page is an essay by Glenn E. Humphreys. The inner pages contain the text of a letter from Ellery ordering books in 1856, and a list describing the book ordered. Ellery's book store was on Montgomery Street in San Francisco. The text of the letter is taken form the original in the California Historical Society. Three hundred copies printed by Peter Koch, but the first 200 copies were numbered for the Friends of the Edward C. Kemble Collections on Western Printing and Publishing,. This is number 50. In fins condition.
