There a very small plate from a previous owner on the front fixed endpaper. The binding is blue cloth with silver stamped lettering and decoration on the spine and front cover. The spine is sunned very slightly and there are a few small bumps to the board's edges. Overall a very good copy in a a good, slightly creased, price-clipped dj. .

Hutchinson, 1940. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1940. 287 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages are heavily tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Front free endpaper removed. Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Pen scribbles to both boards. Black marks to all surfaces. Book is bowed and backward leaning.
