About This Item

York Beach, Maine: Samuel Weiser, 1998. Unquestionably, an Unread set. The Two Volumes show just a touch of aging, otherwise Fine. White cloth clean without any marks, gilt stamping bright. Square, bindings tight, corners sharp. Signatures well secure, not separating from spine backing. Edges clean, bright, and unsoiled. The notoriously thin and fragile slipcase (much too weak to hold the two volumes), is present with corner wear, light internal aging, light crease to one panel (see scan). Enclosed in publishers original, albeit a bit worn, cardboard printed shipping box. This edition is the First to include an Intro by Hymenaeus Beta, and 48 pages of notes and corrections from Crowley's personal copies of the Equinox, with "Notes on Contributors".. First Thus.. Decorative Cloth Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. Illus. by Aleister Crowley, J. F. C. Fuller, Austin Osman Spare, Augustus Edwin John OM, RA, et al.. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Heavy, Oversized Safely Packed.
