Supplemental softbound volume with matching wrappers and illustrated endpapers contains Narahara's essay titled, "The Promised Journey" Signed by Ikko Narahara on the FFEP. Slipcased. Slipcase lightly rubbed and worn. Bound in printed paper covered illustrated boards and matching wraps. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Narahara's ode to Spain printed in gravure. Split into 3 sections: the bull fight, the urban landscape, and the countryside. Along with Eikoh Hosoe, Shomoei Tomatsu, Kikuji Kawada, Akira Tanno, and Akira Sato, Ikko Narahara was a founding member of the famed VIVO agency. This book is divided into sections titled Grand Tarde, Fiesta, and Vaya Con Dios that deal with the bull fight, the urban life in the streets, and finally the peasant life in the countryside.
