Tight, clean very good. Leather spine rubbed along the joints but still supple. 1/2" split beginning at top of back joint. Corners not rubbed. Small abraded spot at top corner of free front endpaper. Overall a very good to near fine copy.. Frontispiece portrait of Emerson.. A delight to read this book, beautifully printed on laid paper,
