About This Item
The First UK printing published by Serpent's tail, London in 2016. The BOOK is in near Fine condition. Free from inscriptions and erasures. The WRAPPER is complete and is in near Fine condition. A very mild crease to the upper spine. The wrapper artwork looks striking in the removable Brodart cover. The book has been signed (without dedication) to the title page and a ticket for the signing event accompanies this book as provenance. 'The Essex Serpent', was a number one bestseller, 'Waterstones Book of the Year 2016' and both 'Fiction book of the Year' and 'Overall Book of the Year 2017' at the British Book Awards. It was then nominated for a further eight literary prizes, including 'The Costa Novel Award 2017', and 'The Bailey's Women's Prize for Fiction 2017'. Very scarce with such attributes. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
