The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. The text pages are clean and bright. There is some begining pulling to a couple of signatures. The author, Joseph Warren Watson apparently died very early in life, at age 23, after starting a promising career as a poet, writing and publishing poems in several regional magazines. Here's a portion of his obituary: "hough he loved to communicate brief catches of poetry to contribute to the amusement of gay and festive circles, he rarely entered them himself, but seemed to live as if profoundly conscious of his early death. He died after a lingering illness of that fell destroyer of so many bight ambitious, and beautiful youths - consumption."
