Boston: Henry N. Sawyer Company, 1968 Book. Illus. by 14 Colour Illustrations Laid In and 2 B & W Photos. Very Good Minus. Paper Covered Boards. Signed and Inscribed By Author. Presumed First Edition. 9 1/2 x 10 1/2 Oblong. Large format paper covered boards with paintings of various Ethiopian legends on front and back covers. Paper worn at edges and corners. 1" long split in paper at top front corner of spine, and 2" split in paper at bottom rear corner of spine. Illustration across from page 9 is loose, but still attached. There is a chapter on Traditional Art of Ethiopia by Marjorie LeMay. The author was a graduate student at Harvard. The Ethiopian Church is unique - it is similar to Eastern Orthodox, but there is a heavy Jewish influence as well. 59 pp..
