Announcement of a New York fundraising event to support Solidarity, ca 1980. Featured participants included Joseph Brodsky, E.L. Doctorow, Allen Ginsberg, Nat Henthoff, Susan Sontag, Kurt Vonnegut and a host of others, with musical performances by Pete Seeger and the "Solidarnosc singers," Ryszard & Krzysztof. Undated, but from context appears to be from the first or second year of Lech Walesa's Solidarity movement., ca 1980-81.
