London: John Murray, 1831. xi + [1] + 356 pp. Small 8vo., 5 7/8 inches tall. Half contemporary dark red leather stamped in gilt and blind, gilt spine rules, ornaments and lettering. Marbled paper covered boards. Leather supple but with a few scrapes to joints and corners. B/w frontispiece and 5 plates. Light soil and foxing in text; plates toned with light foxing to edges. The first appearance of this classic account of the mutiny.
