(ca 1942); 8 1/2 x 7; pp. [20]; mimeographed, illustrated wraps; mimeographed text; small spot to front wrap, else very minor wear; near fine condition.A lovely song book, it was most probably published as a war relief effort and distributed at the opulent Persian Room of the iconic Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco to patrons, attending Sunday-night, sing-along programs. It featured 52 popular and patriotic songs, including "God bless America," "Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition," and "Take Me Out to the Ball Game."
