A collection of extracts from French authors to be translated, with reference to grammar, sentence structure, tenses, and more. Written by Lewis Chambaud, a writer and linguist. Revised and corrected by Mr. Des Carrieres. Bound in full calf. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the board. Joints starting but firm. Minor loss to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with light scattered spotting. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper. Good
