Bradford and Inskeep, 1814. First Edition. Hardcover. Acceptable. First Edition, 1814. Volume 1 only. Full leather with rubbed corners and edges. Front hinge is started but otherwise has a good binding. Few pages at the beginning and end have moisture marks. Pencil and pen scribble on the endpapers and title page- rear pastedown pencil writing seems to recount a family member being possibly involved in the battle of Chancellorsville (Civil War). No marks or notations to the text. Front free endpaper is loose but included. No maps or plates. Brown leather with red spine label.
