Very good. 4to. xi, 291 pp., frontispiece of Grand Canyon of the Colorado and 80 other numbered illustrations on full pages with verso blank, index. Two folding maps in rear pocket. Original dark green cloth, gilt spine title. Spine tips neatly repaired, new map pocket else a very good copy. With the bookplate of E. Wilkinson on the front pastedown. The maps are in very good condition with only slight separation at the fold intersections.
Graff 3336, Howes P528, Monk p180, Wheat 1261. Arizona 100 No. 76.
Farquhar considers this title one of the "basic documents of Colorado River history." (Farquhar, 42.a).
