Binder's stamp to the front pastedown, 'Charles Cooper'. Prior owner's inscription to the half-title 'A Boninsloh'. Fabiola is set in the early 4th Century in Rome during the persecution of Christmas under Roman Emperor Diocletian. The titular character, Fabiola, is the heroine of the book. Undated, dated using Copac. A smart copy of this novel, in a full calf binding. Condition: In a full calf binding. Externally, smart. Fading to the spine. Light marks and shelfwear to the joints and extremities. Prior owner's inscription to the half-title. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with just the occasional spots to pages. Overall Condition: Very Good.
