Signed upon the opening page by John Steckbeck and Olympian Jim Thorpe, as follows: "To Paul Conner / Best Wishes / John S Steckbeck" / "Me too Jim Thorpe"; additionally, a business card, is loosely laid in, from Furber Marshall of the Carlisle Corporation upon which he has written, "Happy Hunting / from / Us Indians." Minor bump to bottom corner, else book in fine condition; dust jacket with light tanning to spine, moderate paper loss to edge, and a couple rubbed areas to spine.
