A mystery novel in which the main character is a newspaperman who finds himself involved in the investigation of the murder of an old prospector in a quiet desert town in California. It seems to be involved with smuggling or a Spanish treasure and while he is trying to solve the mystery and publish his story he is also trying to evade the murderer. 183p.. First Edition.
