UK: Collins, 1930. First Edition . Decorative Cloth. Fine/Near Fine. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Anne Anderson. 1st Edition C1930. Title vignette, colour frontispiece and 15 similar plates, 20 full-page line-drawings and numerous similar in-text illustrations. First Anderson collected edition, originally published as two separate works: Grimm's Fairy Tales (Glasgow: Collins, 1922) and Andersen's Fairy Tales (Glasgow: Collins, 1924). Anne Anderson (1874-1952) was a prolific Scottish illustrator, primarily known for her art nouveau children's book illustrations. Book is fine and in beautiful condition. Contents good. Light foxing to page edges. The wrapper is near fine and very bright. Light edge rubbing. Price clipped. A beautiful example. More images can be taken upon request. Ref 15038
