All printed one side only and most with light marks of former damp. *Second and enhanced edition of this beautifully printed book, which Ruari McLean calls an "outstanding example of Evans's colour printing" and "also Richard Doyle's masterpiece: it contains some of the most entrancing children's book illustrations ever made" (Victorian Book Design 2nd edn. 1972 p184).
