Second printimng. Dust-jacket protected by reinforced mylar covers. Not an ex-library copy, from a private collection. No previous ownership marks. An accouint of the German parachute assault on Crete, the most successful such operation of the war, but so costly that Hitler never again launched a major airborne campaign. Mild toning to endpapers from mylar, else a very clean, square, unmarked copy. Very good in a very good+ dust-jacket. . Second Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
