Spine ornately gilt, five raised bands, each compartment with fine gilt devices & decorations; boards with gilt rules and devices in the corners, gilt patterned inner dentelles. Text block clean, tight & sound. Minimal rubs. 8vo. 1158 pp. A bright, clean & lovely example of this American Classic seldom encountered inscribed.
