On the verso are brief paragraphs on The War Fronts, plus black and white maps: Italy, Liberated Area of France, Karelian Isthmus, and map of the Pacific area, a map showing Saipan and Tinian. The map of Asia is copyright by National Geographic with much detail and in very large size. .

New York.: Army Service Forces, War Dep't.. 26 June1944.. Large folding colour map 104 x 84.5 cms; 118 x 88.5 cms (sheet), folding to 31 x 21 cms, associated text and maps on verso; marginal toning and wear along the folds (two small fold splits without loss), but in very good condition.. Very large folding colour map of "The Far East", but showing Asia as whole (including a tiny portion of Western Australia), with "International Boundaries as of Sept. 1 1939, the day Germany invaded Poland", and a translation key for geographical terms. On the verso are text updates on the U.S and Allied war fronts: France (reporting on the Battle for Cherbourg), Marianas, Biak, Japan, Italy, Eastern Front, China and Southeast Asia. Accompanying the text are maps of Italy, Liberated Area of France, Karelian Isthmus, a map showing Saipan and Tinian, and a global view of Asia and the Pacific (including Australia). .
