Reviews

On Jan 10 2020, a reader said:
I bought this book second hand as background material for an autobiography I am presently writing about me & my family & discovered a treasure trove of information & historical facts hitherto unknown to me about the roots of my family. Not only is this extremely well written, & presently out of print, mores the pity, it explicitly explains how & where this group of people came to be & where they all ended up. The methodical nature of the writing, takes you , the reader on a journey, sometimes shocking ,but always factual ,with historic references impeccably researched & delivered in an easy to understand style, which makes the reader's journey all the more poignant & moving throughout the narrative. A book that I will certainly recommend to others & will reread many times to glean as much information as I can for my book. A mammoth work of significant historical importance into understanding the nature of the sephardim diaspora of when & how they settled throughout the world making a significant contribution through their presence in which ever country they settled in !
