Description:
Springfield, MA: The Phelps Publishing Co., 1907. 1st Edition . Soft cover. VG-. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. See photos for condition details. First softcover edition with pale green wraps decorated on front in red and black. Exterior shows scuffing and soiling along with some spots. Bottom spine is chipping and corners show a bit of curling. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. Paper is toned due to age and there is some spotting and soiling present along with some foxing. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting found. Include with the book is a handwritten recipe which is written on the back of a an old farm store receipt from Monrovia Maryland. The recipe is for cakes. This book appears well used and there was a corner or two folded in which have been straightened out. It grades as a low VG-to a borderline good+.
