Olive green cloth bindings with gilt title and gilt, silver, green and red nautical designs on front boards. Gilt titles on spines. Untrimmed side and bottom edges. Top edges gilt. Frontispiece portrait illustration volume 1 has a paper repair upper left corner where a small corner section was torn with minor loss to the illustration. Rear hinge of volume 2 slightly cracked.
