Handsome large book that was published in conj. with an exhibition at The Museum Of Modern Art that attempts to show the influences of advertising and fashion on the work of many of the hip new photographers (and some older hip ones) and how their work can also sometimes influence the worlds of fashion and advertising. Got it. Includes some of the usual suspects, Cindy Sherman, Nan Goldin, Tina Barney, Steven Meisel etc. Illustrated with many vividly colored photographs + essays. Fine.
