by Gould, John

Condition: Good+/Good-

William Morrow and Company. New York. 1953. Second printing stated. 91 pages. Hardcover. The covers are in very good plus condition. The front and back covers are colorfully illustrated with the same illustration that is on the dust jacket. The title and author are in blue on the spine. The dust jacket is in good minus condition; there are several small tears on the top and bottom, particularly associated with the spine; the longest is approx. 1/2 in. There is a red line (approx. 3/4" long) near the bottom of the front, the back of the jacket is soiled and contains some red staining near the bottom. The binding is solid.
The interior of this book is in very good condition. There is a previous owners name in ink and small paper stamp from a bookstore on the front free end paper. Otherwise, the pages are clean and bright with no other writing or markings detected. The book contains many illustrations by F. Wenderoth Saunders.
