Here we have an account of this system and how Australia slowly transformed itself into a flourishing nation. A fascinating and moving history. Book is bound in pearl-grey cloth with silver titles, very clean and unmarked, bottom edges of boards lightly rubbed. Tight & solid sewn binding, square with sharp corners. The lower corner of the text block is slightly smudged. Rough cut. Insc ffrom prev owner on endpaper. 9 maps prior to text. Internals very clean and free from any markings, no creases.
