About This Item

London, John Long, 13 & 14 Norris Street, Haymarket, 1905. Integral advertisement leaf followed by publisher’s inserted 8pp. catalogue dated Early Spring 1905, at end; vertically fine ribbed red cloth lettered gilt within gilt-ruled boxes on front cover and spine; fore-edges mainly trimmed, lower-edges rough trimmed. Nice copy. Hubin, p.237; not in Sadleir; this title not in Wolff (who lists her under Bettany). A pseudoscientific, occult, murder story. All books listed by Robert Temple are first editions unless otherwise stated.
