A reprint of an 1862 edition written by a Hungarian vintner and nobleman considered the founder of the California wine industry. Burgundy cloth spine over tan boards, silver titles on spine, black end papers. Cloth is spotted and faded at edges, light edge wear to cover, spine ends and corners a bit bumped, front board a little curved, interior pages a little tanned, binding tight. Illustrated gray dust jacket with black titles on front cover and blue titles on spine is a little faded at spine, minor creases and short tears along edges of dust jacket, a little spotting, small creases and tears at top of back jacket, price clipped.
