Dust jacket with tears to spine, soiling and other short tears, not price-clipped and presentable in a clear archvial sleeve.

Chatto & Windus, 1932. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1932. 287 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with creased corners and foxing. Nicks and tears to page edges. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Book has a forward lean.

Thumb-marking present. Noticeable creasing to gutter. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Front and rear boards are loose but still attached. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Some tanning to spine and edges. Black and white marks to boards. Textblock is slightly shaky.
