Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1947. First Edition. Leather Binding. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This was editor Elliott Roosevelt's own copy (FDR's son), in a full blue morocco presentation binding, spine with raised bands and compartments bordered with twin gilt rules, covers bordered with twin rules in gilt, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers (slight wear; very lowermost edges of text dampstained). 543pp Foreword by Eleanor Roosevelt. Edited by Elliott Roosevelt.Illustrated by B/w illus.
