About the book:Perhaps most well-known as the Booker Prize winning author of Schindler's Ark, Australian born Keneally has said that he would like to be able to disown his first two novels, particularly "The Fear", which he calls "the obligatory account of one's childhood." Contemporary reviews note that Keneally "writes with pace and style", and that The Fear is "powerful and intensely moving" Set in wartime Australia, it is the story of Danny Jordan, a young Catholic boy who is compelled to face the problems set by adults in an adult world. Next door to Danny live the Mantles, through whom he is to learn more about life, death, and fear, than is right for a small boy. All our books are securely packed, and dispatched without delay.
