Thomas W. Salmon (1876–1927) was an early supporter of the "mental hygiene," a movement initially closely linked with eugenics that eventually evolved into the general idea of "mental health," and the treatment of the illness.
Provenance: On the front wrapper, a stamp for Yale University Library dated June 8, 1917, and numbers in pencil.
