A new edition, edited and compiled by Watkin Poole. 8vo, approximately 220 x 130 mm, 8½ x 5 inches, engraved frontispiece, added engraved title plus 12 engraved plates as listed in plate list at rear, pages: viii, [3], 10-694, rebound at sometime in reverse calf, gilt lettered black title label, new endpapers. Binding slightly rubbed, frontispiece and engraved title foxed and dusty, all engraved plates have staining of varying degrees, no loss to images, small adhesion to text from 1 plate with slight loss, pale browning to 7 pages of text between the plates, and to index, pale stain to many lower margins with the odd dusty spot, but most pages clean, a little damage to first two endpapers, small tear with loss to one outer margin, not affecting text, old ink name to first endpaper, occasional small fox spot or small stain, otherwise an acceptable copy of an uncommon book. Three copies only listed in Copac. See: William R.
