About This Item
Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1934. First Edition, Fourth Issue. Very Good. First edition, fourth issue. Signed by Roger Tory Peterson and inscribed to a former owner on the front free endpaper. Bound in publisher's green pebbled cloth stamped in silver; lacking the scarce dust jacket. Very Good with a light lean to the binding, light wear at the extremities and light fraying at the top of the spine and pages toned. An influential guide that transformed the world of birding, bringing its joys to the layman.
