Pencil inscription to front endpaper "C Harrison, 150 HG Bty RGA 1915". Presumably his date of commission as this copy contains the 1916 amendments. The 150th Heavy Battery was sent to France during the summer of 1916. Numerous illustrations in text plus twenty one additional plates some in colour. ; B&W and Colour Illustrations; 290 pages; First World War officer's guide book, issued orginally in 1914 and amended in March 1916, covering every aspect of day to day warfare, from the order of marching, to sanitation, demolitions, transportation, court martials, ciphers, etc. For use on active service, at manouevres or on instructional excercises.
