Numerous black & white illus. Ca. 80 pp. Large 8vo (280 x 215 mm.), white semi-stiff boards, title on spine. New York: H. Friedrich & Lone Star Foundation, [1977]. The very rare catalogue of an exhibition held at Heiner Friedrich's New York gallery. Friedrich (b. 1938), gallerist and co-founder of the Dia Art Foundation, championed the work of Minimalist and conceptual artists like Judd, James Turrell, LeWitt, Serra, Georg Baselitz, Cy Twombly, Dan Flavin, Blinky Palermo, Andy Warhol, Walter De Maria, and Joseph Beuys, through his galleries in Germany and the United States and Dia (until his resignation in 1985). This catalogue contains photographs of 15 pieces by Judd as they were exhibited, accompanied by preparatory "architectural drawings." Fine copy and rare.
