Frontispiece engraving of the Chauncy Hall building on Boylston Street in Boston. 130 pp plus one page ad for Boston University at rear. A detailed description of the coursework, policies, management, tuition, prizes, calendar, lists of pupils and teachers, and other information about the historic Boston private school. Laid in is four page printed program for the Feb 9, 1882 Chauncy-Hall School annual exhibition at Boston Music Hall, featuring musical performances, a debate, oratory, speeches, a sword drill and other events. The school is still in operation as a prep-boarding school, now named Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
