The dust jacket has damp stains, chips and tears, protected in a mylar cover (damp stains on DJ only). 159 pages bound in yellow cloth with red lettering on spine, with a few spots on cover, slighrt discoloration on bottom edge of front cover. Front fly page has a stamp which reads "The White Fathers of Africa -Franklin, Pennsylvania". BINDING AND HINGES STRONG AND TIGHT. " With some personal knowledge and love of Uganda and its people, Father Howell tells in narration form the story of the Missionaries' penetration into a hostile land and the love, loyalty and courage of the native boys in defiance of a dissolute and vicious young king" VERY GOOD, TIGHT COPY.
