Contemporary pebbled cloth, spine reinforced with later tape. Boards a bit bowed, edges and corners worn. Contemporary Little Rock Book Binder and Seller Ticket on front pastedown. Leaf containing pages 79 and 80 as well as the plate immediately following detached but present. Some gnawing to top edge of textblock, not affecting text. Contemporary ownership inscription on titlepage. A good copy. Interesting early color Arkansas views. According to McGrath, five of the plates (lithographed by Hoen in Baltimore) were prepared with no fewer than three tinting stones in addition to the key stone.
